If you are of the belief that Beyoncé is a docile and meek person, then you have the pop goddess twisted. Beyoncé doesn’t play when it comes to females coming on to her husband, Jay-Z. Comedian Tiffany Haddish found this out firsthand.
Haddish, the comedian-writer-producer who has skyrocketed to superstardom with the phenomenal success of Girls Trip and multiple other high-profile projects, told a story to Vulture about how her new friend Beyoncé went after an unnamed, aggressive actress who was trying to push up on Jay-Z after one of his concerts — and with his wife in the room.
Haddish was at an after-party with Queen Bey and Jay, and it was there where the episode popped off. Haddish said she was chopping it up and “talking to Jay-Z for a little bit,” and at the time, another woman was there also talking to the rapper.
When the woman started talking to Jay for awhile and and then put her hand on his chest, Beyoncé walked right up and checked the unwise woman. According to Haddish, the singer’s demeanor unquestionably said, “get your hands off my man’s chest.”
The “Formation” femme fatale continued talking to the woman in question and “some other stuff went down,” but fortunately for the woman, Haddish refuses to disclose further information or the woman’s name.
Haddish gave no indication of when and where it happened, but fans speculate it was the night that Bey and Haddish, 38, shared a selfie on Instagram.
Last month, Haddish told Vulture that she nearly got into a fight with someone at a party and Beyoncé was gracious enouogh to take a selfie with her instead.
Haddish told Beyoncé it would be better if they just all had fun, and the actress said the legendary singer agreed to take a picture. Haddish explained, “I’m only going to have fun if you take a selfie with me, and she said, ‘OK,’ and then she buried her face in my wig.”
