TV One’s award-winning series “Unsung” provides firsthand accounts, interviews with family and friends, and archival footage of artists’ journey to the top. Each episode of TV One’s signature series weaves a tale of the highs and lows of a life in the limelight. The poignant stories of “Unsung” offer insight into the trials and triumphs faced by musical artists in both private and public forums.

This is season 12 for the popular TV series and they will feature The Boys, the hottest preteen music sensations of the late ’80s and early ’90s. The group of brothers with their charismatic melodies and high-energy dance routines had all the girls screaming their names. They started their career as street performers and became a chart-topping act. The group had hits produced by Babyface and L.A. Reid. Their fame scored them appearances in national commercials and their own television show. After years of success in the industry, The Boys abandoned their careers in the spotlight. Today, The Boys are grown up and ready to share with “Unsung” the untold story of why they really walked away from it all. “Unsung” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on TV One.
