Beyoncé and Jay-Z have had it with Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian and they want nothing else to do with them.
The friendship among the two couples was never strong to begin with, but now the “Irreplaceable” singer, 37, and “99 Problems” rapper Jay Z, 48, have severed all ties to Kanye and Kim K after their latest political antics, AOL.com reports.
Everyone knows Jay and Bey were very close with Barack and Michelle Obama; the musicians visited the White House and the Obamas have attended their concerts. They also back the Democratic Party. Therefore, they can no longer digest the Twitter tirades of the MAGA-supporting, Donald Trump-loving Kanye.
“They are outraged over Kanye’s recent political rants,” a source close to Beyoncé told RadarOnline.
It is also well known among pop culture observers that Kardashian, 37, and West, 41, have seemingly been desperate to become close pals with Bey and Jay for years. Kardashian seems particularly obsessed with Beyoncé, as many media outlets and fans have stated on multiple occasions.
But Kardashian’s efforts to rub shoulders with Queen Bey have been spurned. Kim K and Kanye’s visits with Trump at the White House, coupled with Kanye’s outlandish speech defending his support of Trump on “Saturday Night Live” were the final straws.
“They think Kanye is a disgrace, and is only doing this for attention,” the source said, adding, “Beyonce and Jay Z know that Kanye is seeing a future in politics, but they feel that they cannot associate themselves with them from this point forward. They want nothing to do with either one of them.”
It wasn’t that long ago that Jay-Z and West embarked on the acclaimed “Watch the Throne” national tour together and were side-by-side at the Grammy Awards. But things began going left shortly before Bey and Jay skipped Kanye and Kim’s wedding. Things worsened when Kanye spewed a diatribe at Bey and Jay during one of his concerts in 2016 because Bey wouldn’t let her daughter play with his children.
Earlier this year, the quartet appeared to have reconciled, especially after Beyonce and Jay-Z reportedly bought Kardashian and West’s daughter Chicago a $26K bracelet after her birth earlier this year.
But now the bridge between them appears to have been blown to a thousand pieces, causing irreversible damage.
