Noname tops this list for so many reasons. He project Room 25 is one of the best releases of the year from any genre. The production is funky, lush, light and dark. Noname’s lyrical stylings are impeccable and are in full display on the song “Blaxploitation.” She enlists the services of Saba and Smino on “Ace” as they do double dutch all over the track.
