Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore Daly excitedly shared the first photos of her newborn daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly.
Moore and her husband, New York City restaurateur Marc Daly, gave fans a glimpse of their baby girl, who was born on Nov. 4, 2018, after a very traumatic entry into the world.
For Moore, it was worth going through preeclampsia and a subsequent emergency cesarean section in order for her “miracle” to arrive.
“I finally have everything I’ve dreamed of,” Moore, 47, told People. “She’s so perfect in so many ways.”
Moore goes on to share that Brooklyn already “makes 101 faces” that make her mother melt.
“This little angel … so beautiful. I feel so blessed. It’s all been so worth it,” Moore said. The new mother even hinted that she’s so ecstatic to have her first child that she now also wants to have a baby boy. She said she’s well aware, however, that her body would probably not hold up carrying another child.
RHOA fans remember that Moore and Daly were married during a surprise ceremony on the gorgeous Caribbean island of St. Lucia in June 2017. The secret marriage greatly angered Bravo executives, who fined her hundreds of thousands of dollars before firing her at the end of last season.
Moore has been reportedly trying to land another reality show ever since, including an RHOA spin-off. Former castmate and close friend Kandi Burruss said she believes that Moore should be allowed to return to Bravo’s flagship show.
Perhaps not coincidentally, RHOA ratings are reportedly down from previous seasons.
With model and actress Eva Marcille holding the peach instead of Moore, the Nov. 4 episode attracted only 1.93 million viewers. That’s a sharp decline from previous seasons, which hit its peak in season 7 with 3.83 million folks watching, according to the Nielsen ratings.
Then again, ratings have been on the decline for several seasons now. The season 8 premiere drew 2.96 million viewers, season 9 dropped to 2.59 million, and season 10 had 2.43 million viewers, Nielsen reports.
While that matter plays out, Moore busies herself with trying to capture Brooklyn’s daily adventures. She hinted that the infant will have her own Instagram account, which should be up and running in the new year.
