Jimmy King is the trumpeter for Grammy Award-winning artist Bruno Mars’ band The Hooligans. Coming from a classical music-trained family, King learned how to play the trumpet at the age of 12 with the help of his oldest brother. Always a big dreamer, King has followed his passion and been able to work with several big-name artists, such as Angie Stone, PJ Morton, Monica, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, David Banner and Janelle Monae. Before the concert, King stopped by rolling out studios to discuss his Super Bowl experience, touring with Bruno and his upcoming show, “The Jimmy King Experience.”
