U.S. Sen. Cory Booker appears ready to plunge headfirst into the 2020 presidential election. But the former Newark mayor and Democrat representing New Jersey in Congress, has also reportedly fallen head over heels for a certain Hollywood actress.

It turns out that Booker is confirmed to be dating and falling for Rosario Dawson, who is best known for her roles such hit movies as Men in Black II, Sin City, He Got Game and Seven Pounds.

The New York-born Dawson, 39, was lightheartedly interrogated when the paparazzi spotted her walking through Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, March 14, 2019.

Dawson confirmed she is the woman Booker, 49, referred to last month on “The Breakfast Club” when he said he was dating someone very special, while adding, “I got a boo.”

Dawson’s face lit up when a TMZ reporter asked her if the rumors were true. “Yes,” she said without a hint of hesitation. She then gushed over Booker, calling him an “amazing human being” and calling their romance a “wonderful thing.”

She also indicated that she is in love with Booker without being prompted, leading observers to wonder if she would make a good first lady if her senator boyfriend wins the presidential election.

“I am just grateful to be with someone that I respect and love and admire so much,” Dawson said while flashing that high-wattage, red-carpet smile and flossing a Cory Booker campaign button on her designer purse.

“The Breakfast Club” hosts Angie Martinez and Charlamagne Tha God asked Booker if his “boo” would make good first lady material, and Booker said, “yes,” adding that she is very special.

What do you think? Would Booker and Dawson make a good couple? And can you envision a scenario in which Dawson is the leading female dignitary of the United States?
