In another explosive revelation on “Red Table Talk,” Jada Pinkett Smith provided insight on her past relationship with porn.
On the latest episode of the hit Facebook series, which aired Monday, May 20, 2019, Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow Smith, and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Jones discussed the topic in a show titled, “Does Porn Ruin Relationships?”
Pinkett Smith began by saying, “If I was still on my porn game, I’d be able to show you some good porn.”
She also admitted to having an “unhealthy” relationship with porn. “Back in the day I had a little porn addiction,” she revealed. “But I wasn’t in a relationship when I had a porn addiction, believe it or not, thank goodness.”
Willow asked her mother if she was fixated on porn. Jada responded: “It was actually like filling an emptiness, at least you think it is. But it’s actually not.”
Later in the episode, Willow admitted that she was exposed to porn for the first time at age 11. “All my girlfriends were like, ‘Oh, you should [watch],’” said Willow, now 18.
Jada said she was aware her daughter was exposed to “hardcore porn” by viewing Tumblr. “I remember the first time I went on Willow’s Tumblr, she was 10 or 11,” she said. “She was very matter-of-fact. She said, ‘I’m going to my Tumblr page, but as we’re going through the Tumblr page you’re going to see a lot of stuff. This has nothing to do with me.’ So she’s just scrolling, scrolling. And when I tell you I saw some of the most hardcore pornography on Tumblr…”
