Several of the top rappers in today’s music game served as headliners for the BET Experience. Held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the show featured Meek Mill, YG, DJ Khaled, Tyga, DJ Mustard, Roddy Ricch, and Blueface.
Compton native Roddy Ricch kicked things off by performing his hit single “Racks in the Middle,” which also featured a verse from the late-great Nipsey Hussle.
Blueface followed by performing his hit “Thotiana” which caused the crowd to go into a frenzy. Bronx rapper, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, set the arena on fire with his popular singles “Look Back At It” and “Drowning”.
Meek Mill hit the stage and performed a myriad of his chart-topping hits including “All Eyes On You” and “Dreams and Nightmares.” But the highlight of his performance was when he brought out surprise guests DJ Khaled and Ella Mai to join him on stage and take the energy to the next level.
YG rounded out the night with a high-energy performance that paid homage to the West Coast, as well as his friend and late rapper, Nipsey Hussle. Performing some of his most popular hits, such as “Stop Snitchin,” “Who Do You Love” and “Big Bank.” Highlights of his performance included him bringing out special guests 2 Chainz, Tyga, DJ Mustard, Kamaiyah, G-Eazy and DaBaby.
