The most recent trend in Atlanta, with its wide collection of parks and green spaces is yoga in the park. People enjoy being able to connect with nature and become zen. Free outdoor yoga classes are popping up throughout the city and rolling out is here to share the latest with you. Here are 10 free yoga classes in Atlanta.

Battery Park – On Monday nights when the Braves aren’t playing at home, free yoga classes are available at The Battery. The class meets each week at 6:30 p.m. No need to register in advance.

Old Fourth Ward Skate ParkKing of Pops, is back hosting yoga at the park.  The class will take place on Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Practitioners will need to bring their own mats and water. This class is suitable for all experience levels.

The Home Depot Backyard (Hip-Hop Yoga) – Every Monday from now until October the Home Depot Backyard will host Hip-Hop Yoga at 6:30 p.m. This is a 60-minute class led by certified yoga teacher Jaimee Ratliff. No need to register for these classes.

The Home Depot Backyard (Vibe Yoga)- Every Thursday from now until October the Home Depot Backyard at 6:00 p.m. will host Vibe Yoga. No need to register for these classes either.

Woodruff Park – Every Saturday morning, free yoga classes are offered at 9 a.m. at the park. The 60-minute class takes place on the lawn in the center of the park. Practitioners will need to bring mats and water. Register at Eventbrite by clicking here.
