For the multitude of Beyoncé fans who are in their feelings after the pop goddess’ masterpiece for Netflix, “Homecoming,” was completely snubbed at the Emmy’s, take note.

There was once another musician who got snubbed at the Emmy’s after his memorable and masterful performance at the “Motown 25” reunion show. It was there that he debuted the moonwalk before a record-setting TV audience and helped propel Thriller to the status as the country’s and the world’s bestselling album ever.

We believe things turned out okay for Michael Jackson.

Queen Bey fans, and particularly the notorious BeyHive, were enraged after the “Irreplaceable” singer’s Homecoming did not win a single award after garnering six nominations.

Homecoming lost in all six categories, including the one for Best Variety Special that was awarded to “Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney.”

Even colleagues within the industry were upset:

“James Corden is a perfectly lovely human being. I enjoy Carpool Karaoke. It’s a good bit,” wrote Soraya Nadia McDonald, a culture critic at The Undefeated. “HOMECOMING, on the other hand, is seminal. It is timeless. It is exhaustive and original. This really, really bothers me.”

“Ellen” show contributor Kalen Allen wrote this on Twitter: “You mean to tell me Beyonce won no Emmys tonight for Homecoming?! Y’all stay disrespecting her in her face! Smh!” wrote. Click here to continue.
