Powerful forums at Congressional Black Caucus' Annual Legislative Conference

The top political and business leaders in the nation converged on Washington, D.C., for the 2019 Congressional Black Caucus‘ Annual Legislative Conference. The ALC is one of the nation’s leading policy conferences and focuses on issues that impact the Black community. The five-day conference, which concluded Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019, featured nearly 100 public policy forums on politics, business, health, education, economic empowerment and the environment.

Below are several powerful forums that took place at the Congressional Black Caucus’ Annual Legislative Conference.


Diversity in Media

Moderated by Jeff Johnson, a panel on the “Diversity in Media” discussed the future of media as it relates to Black outlets, multicultural content and advertising. The panel featured commentary from Cheryl Grace (Nielsen); Ramcess Jean-Louis (Verizon Media); Tirrell Whittley (Liquid Soul); Connie Orlando (BET Networks); and Michelle Ebanks (Essence Communications Inc.).
