As a Black woman, what do you consider your superpowers to be?

As a Black woman, my superpowers are kindness, empathy and determination. These three, along with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, are the reasons I am where I am today and will keep me focused on my goals.

What key qualities make you unique as an African American female leader?

I was raised by a single mother and was a single mother myself. Here I am, against those odds, with a genuine love and concern for other women. I am determined to help as many women see themselves as beautiful as I see them — one outfit at a time.

What encouraging piece of advice would you give to your younger self?

I would tell my younger self to hang on in there, baby girl. You will be amazed at what lies ahead of you. Remain determined and don’t waste time doubting yourself. Women will admire and follow you on Facebook at Accessory Junkie and on Instagram @_accessoryjunkie. Click here to continue.
