Record-breaking NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has now been fired from four major companies in the past six months, including his unceremonious ouster from the defending Super Bowl champions New England Patriots on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019.
According to ESPN, the Pats announced they were cutting ties with the extremely controversial and explosive Brown whose boorish behavior and alleged personal misconduct proved to be too much for the Patriots’ palette.

Since the beginning of 2019, Brown, 31, has been released from the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Oakland Raiders, his endorsement deal with Nike and now – the Patriots. He was also dropped as an ambassador from a major helmet-making company due to the sexual assault lawsuit filed by former trainer Britney Taylor.
Overall, Brown has a reported six lawsuits hanging over his head from former employees and associates who said he failed to meet his financial obligations to them, Sports Illustrated reported. That includes an $11,500 suit filed this past week by a doctor who said Brown failed to pay him and farted in his face during an examination.
Because Brown, nicknamed “AB,” stirred up constant controversy during his tenure in Pittsburgh, Oakand and Foxboro, he is far from the most sympathetic figure in sports. And the memes and jokes littered social media like weeds almost immediately.
