When did you know you wanted to be a cannabis entrepreneur and how did you go about inserting yourself into the industry?
Honestly, it was at a very young age. I was introduced to the cannabis trade as a means to survive. It was not legal, yet it was a very lucrative business, even a 14-year-old can see that $7.50 an hour compared to maybe $50-$100 in that same time is a no brainer. I was supported in my decisions, and I paid for it, but I have no regrets.
Is it safe to market online, given that not all states have legalized cannabis?
No, I don’t consider it safe, mainly because cannabis is for adult use, which omits the larger target audience of online use. Online ads can be targeted, but this too can be tricky, because children and teens honestly navigate the internet better than adults, leaving them more likely to see the ads.
