Beauty expert and educator Tie Cooper hosted her second annual Hi BeauTea Party Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at Atlanta’s Swan Coach House.
Cooper’s nonprofit hosts the luxurious luncheon, which is a scholarship fundraiser for beauty industry students and entrepreneurs to educate, inspire and motivate the next generation of beauty professionals.
Attendees came dressed to impress in the best high tea attire including gloves, hats, fascinators. The event was educational, inspirational and motivational, offered professional strategies through insightful panels and discussions and included beauty vendors, art displays, raffle giveaways and more.
The panels were moderated by rolling out’s relationship expert Christal Jordan, who is also the principal behind Enchanted PR, a premier entertainment-based firm based in Atlanta.
Panelists included Tahira J. Wright, founder of The Cut Life; Jay Gats, custom curator of men’s fashion and founder of The Cashmere Society; Jessica De Vault Hale, editor of Hype Hair; Tahirah Carter, beauty influencer, hairstylist entrepreneur; Anita H. Bohannon, CEO of Bovanti Cosmetics, author and speaker; Recondius O’Brien, master hairstylist and global educator; and Teneya Gholston, senior director of marketing for Creme of Nature. Carol M. Rey, founder and director of The Elite School of Etiquette, taught an etiquette session.
The highlight of the event was when Cooper presented scholarships to two deserving women who are pursuing their passions in the beauty industry.
