The skills that will be essential to entrepreneurs, leaders and innovators are: the ability to communicate effectively; a desire to be honest [integrity]; the ability to make tough decisions; an understanding of accountability; the ability to be highly organized; a desire to continuously problem-solve; an understanding of the need to delegate and empower others; the ability to develop a team; and the ability to continuously motivate and inspire a team.


Name your favorite role models for success in two different industries.

[My favorite role models are] Michelle Obama and Henrietta Lacks.


Name three books that changed how you saw life that you would recommend to others.

The Bible, Is Your Genius At Work? by Dick Richards, The Gift of Forgiveness by Charles Stanley, [and] The Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer.

Define why lifelong learning is important to you.

Lifelong learning is important to me because the joy of living can not be fully experienced if learning isn’t taking place on a rather continuous basis. I am at my happiest when my mind is constantly renewed as a result of important information.

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

If I could change one thing about the world it would be to ensure that there exists a universal [spiritual] definition for love and peace that is required to be exhibited by all human beings.
