A disturbing video has emerged of a White sheriff attacking a teenager who is a quadruple amputee. Video of the incident went viral on Nov. 14 after being reported by TV station, KOLD.
The unidentified sheriff deputy in Pima County, Arizona answered a disturbance call at a group home where the 15-year-old quadruple amputee was living after being abandoned by his family. At some point, the teen had knocked over a garbage can and verbally threated an employee at the group home.
When the sheriff’s deputy arrived, the incident became violent. In the video, recorded by an unidentified teen at the group home, the sheriff attacks the 15-year-old quadruple amputee and rolls on top of him.
“I will raise my voice to you whenever the f–– I want, you understand?” the sheriff screamed at the teen.
After the teen who filmed the encounter asked a question, the sheriff approached him and told him to “shut the hell up.” Both teens were arrested on disorderly conduct charges.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Office was not aware of the nature of the incident before the video footage was released by the teen’s public defender.
An internal investigation has been launched into the sheriff’s conduct.
