How do you use technology daily?
Working at a technology company there are a lot of tools that we do use whether it be, using Slack to have interactions with not only the vendors that I support but the experience owners that I need to deliver for. It’s something that we use to interact as an employee resource group. In addition, I’m using technology to track the team’s performance, look at the queues, and monitor to see if we’re delivering as we should for our customers. It is critical that I have these tools in order to make sure that we’re creating the best experience for our customers.
Share a story that makes you proud to be a part of Intuit.
I would say the investment that Intuit has made when it comes to diversity and inclusion. Being one of the co-chairs of the African Ancestry Network has allowed me the opportunity to not only help with the personal development of our members but we’re able to give back to the community as well. Recently we celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday and we were able to support a small business, Dough Boy Donuts and treat their site. It helped him with visibility … and helped folks learn about this business that happens to be an Intuit customer. It just makes me proud to work for a company that supports these types of opportunities outside of just the day-to-day business.
