Tell us about the art aspect of your locations?
We aren’t going to be doing like hip-hop art in all of our spaces. We are more focused on Black art in general. With our newest location in Sacramento, we worked with six different artists, three of which were from the Bay Area and three were Nashville artists. Our goal [is to] continue to build spaces to create a collective of artists to travel with us [that] we can expose their art to different cities across America. We have a big plan to grow within the three things to push Slim & Husky’s and that is pizza, art, and music.
What is your go-to pizza order?
Typically, I get the white sauce, beef pepperoni, chicken sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, and like some green olives with our garden butter drizzle (sauce).
