So, if you’re trying to plan your Valentine’s Day, here are some ideas:
Host a game night. While we are still battling COVID-19, you can even gather in person or virtually with close friends and do an old-fashioned game night.
Have a movie night. Netflix and Hulu have an abundance of movies that will touch your heart while being entertaining.
Exchange gifts with your besties. Treat your girls! They’ve been there through all the drama of your relationships. They deserve to be celebrated.
Host a paint night. Identify a spot where you can let your creative juices flow. Don’t forget the wine!
Have a sleepover. What’s more fun than a pajama party? Recreate your scene from Waiting to Exhale.
Cook a gourmet meal. You’ve hit up Doordash more times than you care to count, so it’s time for you to tap into your inner chef and prepare a home-cooked meal.
Have a spa day. Pamper yourself by doing something that makes you feel good.
Just do you. Make V-Day your day. Since it’s all about you, decide what brings you contentment. Remember, you’re the special someone.
Retail therapy. Nothing makes you feel better than a new pair of shoes or an outfit. Hit up your favorite online retail store, pull out that card and have fun.
Whether you’re spending this day alone or with friends, self-love is most important. I wish you love on this day and every day beyond!
