Kanye West has responded to Kim Kardashian‘s divorce petition.
The couple — who share North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 23 months, together — decided earlier this year to go their separate ways and after Kardashian filed for divorce from the rapper, he has filed his own response to her submission.
West is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their children, and both he and Kardashian agree that there is no need for either of them to pay spousal support. Both have agreed to pay their own legal fees, TMZ reports.
Meanwhile, Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner previously insisted that she and her family have rallied around her daughter to offer “support” amid her divorce, and the family is focusing on making sure the couple’s children are happy.
Jenner said: “I think it’s always going to be hard anytime … you know, there’s a lot of kids. The good thing about our family is that we are there for each other and supportive and we love each other very, very much so all I want is for those two kids to be happy. And I want the kids to be happy. That’s the goal. I think we all want that for our families, just to be able to have the love and appreciation of one another, and that everyone’s okay. That’s what you want as a mom.”
It comes after it was reported the SKIMS founder wants to sit down with Oprah Winfrey to open up on her split.
