What can we expect from your new album?
The new album is going to be called 1320. The meaning behind that is, in 2013, I lost my mom and I was on the show “The Voice.” And [after] losing her, I felt empty. I just didn’t know what to do. That was the first woman I ever loved. In 2020, I had my daughter and I feel like that brought me out of it. So, 2020 was the year I felt like I’m back grooving and doing my thing, and it was also the year “You Got It” popped off. I got my whole feeling and purpose back and things took off.
