Former reality TV court star Judge Joe Brown stopped by the Black News Channel’s “Black News Tonight” this week and discussed Bill Cosby’s release from prison with anchor and journalist Marc Lamont Hill. Brown made no apologies when he tweeted this week that Cosby should have never been in jail in the first place.

“Anyone knowledgeable of American Law would have expected and predicted the outcome of the Cosby Appeal. [Mainstream Media] and Hollywood incite public disorder lying to the people about the law and encouraging mob rule,” he tweeted.

During his discussion with Hill, Brown also explained that mob rule and emotion can’t sway the law.

“I’ve talked to 43 lawyers around the country, 17 judges and I haven’t found one shocked by the verdict. Most saw the same thing that I did from day one, this should have never gone to trial. It’s a travesty, a violation of due process of American law,” stated Judge Joe Brown.

Brown and Hill also debated whether Cosby was actually guilty of drugging and raping, despite the overturn of his sexual assault conviction. Brown insinuated that time makes people forget who they were when they were young, wild and free and not the adults regretting previous decisions.

“What about these women being accountable for their own behavior. They were groupies. Sex, drugs, rock and roll; sex, drugs, rap; sex, drugs, baseball; football; basketball; movies; television. See, it’s called being a groupie. We forgot what that term meant. The bimbos come to the party,” Brown explained.

“They hang out, they get drunk, they snort lines of blow and they have a good time. They use the hall closets to give head, bathrooms to get down, and you go in to get your coat off of the bed and they’re laying on top of it doing somebody. See, that’s what that’s about,” he further continued.
