Megan Thee Stallion stopped by Taraji P. Henson’s Facebook Watch show, “Peace of Mind,” for the season two premiere on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, and opened up about her romance with boyfriend Pardison Fontaine.
Toward the end of her interview, Henson tells Megan that she looks “happier than ever,” and asked if her love life has anything to do with it. The hot girl captain began laughing before admitting, “My boyfriend does make me very happy. He definitely takes care of me emotionally. He makes my brain feel good.”
She went on to explain that mental and emotional connections weren’t always important to her but dating him has prompted a change in that outlook.
“I used to be so into the physical, right, but he moves me, he inspires me. We just feel like a real team,” she said.
Megan and Pardison Fontaine went public with their relationship back in February after she referred to him as her boyfriend during an Instagram Live session.
“That’s my boo and I really like him,” Megan told viewers about Pardison.
Earlier in the rapper’s conversation with Henson and co-host Tracie Jade, Megan also revealed that she takes mental health more seriously now than ever before because of the added pressures of her stardom.
“I feel like right now mental health is more important to me more than ever because I have more pressure on me than I feel like I used to have. I’ve always been that girl, but when I was Megan, I wasn’t as criticized and under such a magnifying glass as I am now,” she said.
