Actor Darius McCrary of “Family Matters” fame has been the topic discussion after a picture of him with transgender reality Sidney Starr made its way around social media. Starr, who’s appeared on “Baddies ATL” and “Love & Hip Hop,” got rapper Chingy caught up with the tabloid rumors several years back when he was captured in a picture with her at a club. However, McCrary isn’t fazed by the discussion or the picture.
Starr posted a picture and video clip this week of her and McCrary which seems to show the two getting familiar with each other during a photo shoot.

McCrary shut down the rumors as he had lunch with Jo Marie Payton, his TV mom on “Family Matters.”
“Check this out. I don’t normally pay attention to rumors because I’m not into all that and small minds discuss other people. Mediocre minds discuss ideas and great minds discuss how to change the world. So why you’re busy discussing me, I’m trying to figure out how to change the world for you. While ya’ll [sic] are discussing rumors that aren’t true, were eating. What are we in high school and you’re telling me who I can and can’t be friends with? I’m a grown man and five years from 50 so if I wasn’t with my mama. I’d really be saying this a whole other way but I’m being respectful,” McCrary explained.
Payton also chimed in during the video and shut down the dating rumors, saying, “They are not true.”
McCrary was previously married to video vixen Karrine Steffans and is currently dating Kevin Hart’s ex-wife, Torrei Hart. Take a look at the photos of McCrary and Sidney Starr below as well as the actor defending their friendship.
