The Sonata Hybrid is the car rolling out test-drove and it ranks high for smooth driving, road handling and excellent fuel economy. As America is pushing consumers more toward hybrid electric vehicles, the Sonata is one to consider.
What is most impressive with the Sonata Hybrid is its fuel efficiency and excellent driving. The manufacturer’s specifications suggest 45-50 city and 51-54 highway. They were not too far off the mark, rolling out averaged 39.9 mpg while driving through Atlanta.
The Sonata Hybrid, like its cousin the Sonata Limited, are attention-getters. Though the hybrid is classified as a sedan, the Sonata’s dramatic yet sporty styling looks more like a four door sports car than a family sedan. The interior is also loaded with sophisticated style and comfort that is typically found in luxury cars.
Both driver and passengers will find comfort in leather seating as well as seat warmers in most models. The Sonata also features a panoramic sunroof, electric parking brake, hands-free smart trunk, Qi high-speed wireless smartphone charging pad and standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®.
The 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is now available. MSRP starts around $29,900. Check your local dealer for any special year-end pricing.
