Nissan Foundation celebrates 30 years with visits to Mississippi organizations

The Nissan Foundation celebrated 30 years of service with a trip to Mississippi to visit the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum and Mississippi Food Bank, two organizations the foundation has sponsored. Representatives at both Southern organizations expressed immense gratitude to Nissan for the financial support. The foundation was founded in 1992 in wake of the Rodney King protests in southern California and focuses on uplifting Black and other oppressed communities.
