Ye West reportedly turned down a $100 million-deal from Apple Music, to instead stream his new album, Donda 2, exclusively on his Stem Player device. After making the announcement ahead of releasing the album, Ye said his company made $2.2 million in one day.
The artist said he made the decision to give himself 100% ownership.
