Little did Joyce Gilliard know when she was a child, learning in her grandmother’s hair salon, that she would one day be able to bottle up those skills and travel around the world. Gilliard is the lead stylist on the 2022 SXSW selected film A Lot of Nothing and the founder of a film set safety organization. Today, Gilliard is also making short films and is an independent entrepreneur in Atlanta.
