Twenty-year-old University of Mississippi student Jimmie “Jay” Lee is missing and her father, Jimmie Lee Sr., is asking for the public’s help in bringing his daughter home.
Lee was last seen on July 8 around 5:58 a.m. wearing a silver robe or housecoat, gold cap, and gray slippers. Police believe that Lee was visiting someone who lives in Molly Barr Trails apartments before her disappearance.
On July 11, police recovered Lee’s car, a 2014 black Ford Fusion with a cold racing stripe down the middle of the hood, from a local towing company.
Here is a statement from the Lee family asking for any information leading to the whereabouts of Jimmie “Jay” Lee.

In a statement posted online by the Oxford Police Department, Lee said: “If anyone knows or sees anything, say something. Contact law enforcement. Just tell them what you know. This is a plea that you help find my child.”
Authorities say they’re talking with friends, running search warrants, and collecting evidence.
