Ray J’s mother was rushed to the emergency room due to a bad reaction to an IV drip of essential vitamins.
Sonya Norwood reportedly reacted badly to being fed vitamins C and D directly into her bloodstream. The mother of Ray J and singer Brandy began experiencing lightheadedness and rapid heartbeat and had to lie down, according to TMZ.
The publication states that Norwood was checked out and released. She is back at home recovering and is in good health.
“IV therapy,” as it is termed in the celebrity community, recently became popular as a way to get essential vitamins into the system quickly. Kris Jenner was also hospitalized with similar symptoms to her IV therapy back in 2018.
