Eccentric emcee Blueface cranked up social media when he declared that he’d defeat fellow rapper Soulja Boy in a Verzuz battle.
Speaking with comedian Funny Marco, the “Thotiana” rapper and father of three was asked about a potential showdown with the “Kiss You Through the Phone” spitter.
“Hit for hit, who would win? You or Soulja Boy,” Marco inquired.
Blueface, having leaned back in his chair and adopting a pompous posture, retorted with an unambiguous answer that cannot be left to misinterpretation.
“If I were to be honest,” Blueface began. “I’m a professional performer. I’d outperform anyone, hit for hit.”
And this includes Soulja, he insinuated.
The interview quickly ricocheted through cyberspace and sent fans scurrying to their phones and computers to respond. Most rap fans sided with Soulja to resoundingly defeat Blueface if they did link up for a battle.
“Blueface just be talking,” said one commenter on The Neighborhood Talk Instagram page, while a second respondent summarily dismissed Blue’s haughtiness: “Blue would be feeling really Blue as he exits stage left.”
One fan implores Soulja to meet the challenge and prove his supremacy, saying, “@souljaboy big Draco please let them know cause he sleepin on you Ong 😂.
Others opined that Blueface doesn’t stand a chance. “Boy bye u could neeeeevvvvveeeerrrrrrr,” one person said resolutely, while another added: “I’m convinced tha Blueface has a serious mental issue.”
