Jonathan Majors’ career and image came crashing down and splintered into a thousand pieces once the New York jury convicted the Creed III star in the assault case involving his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari on Dec. 17.

Disney — and more specifically Marvel Comics Universe — divorced themselves from Majors as soon as the word “guilty” rang out into the atmosphere. The entertainment company will now recast the famous role of Kang in future comic films. It is doubtful that other major studios will employ Majors as he’s considered nuclear waste in Hollywood at this moment.

Some fans are aghast that Majors was found guilty of assault in the third degree and harassment after video evidence showed Majors running away as Jabbari chased him for several blocks.

Others, however, believe that justice has been served and that Majors’ allegedly explosive temper has finally been exposed.

An intense debate has been raging on social media platforms such as X, Instagram and Clubhouse for the past 18 hours about the fairness of the trial, the intersectionality of race and gender and the prosecutorial evidence that suggests Majors was controlling and manipulative at the very least, and abusive at the most.
