Pardison “Pardi” Fontaine has left his relationship with ex-girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion in his metaphorical rearview mirror.
Fontaine — who was born in Newburgh, New York, under the name Jorden Kyle Lanier Thorpe — partied hard on New Year’s Eve with his new girlfriend, R&B/dancehall singer Jada Kingdom.
Kingdom twerked enthusiastically while he mouthed the words to a rap song as confetti exploded around them to bring in 2024.
“HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!” Fontaine captioned the post on TikTok and Instagram.

That blissful moment is on the other side of the emotional spectrum for the rapper and songwriter after Megan allegedly accused him of cheating in the scathing song, “Cobra.”
“Pulled up, caught him cheatin’, gettin’ his d— sucked in the same spot I’m sleepin’/ Lord, give me a break, I don’t know how much more of this s— I can take,” she raps.
It didn’t take long for him to clap back on wax via the single, “Thee Person.”
“I’d like to apologize for no longer keeping up with your lies or supporting your habits to tell half-truths/ I hope this message reaches you well / Hope you get the help you need,” he says on the song’s intro before going into detail about their relationship.
Afterward, Fontaine admitted on “The Breakfast Club” that Megan’s song was like an uppercut that had him leaning against the ropes emotionally. Although he vehemently denied that he stepped out on Megan, he was circumspect about dissing her publicly despite the intense blowback he incurred from her fans.
“I’m a person that believes that love doesn’t go away; it changes,” he told the radio hosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. “I always want well for her. I’m not a person that wants bad for her; I’m not out here calling her all types of such-and-such. I’ve never even discussed some of the things on that song with my closest friends … I never, ever once ever talked bad about her.”
