Halle Bailey and her boyfriend DDG are facing ridicule on social media due to the minimal accommodations they provided for a famous vlogger moving in with them.

Austin McBroom, who gained fame as a member of the “The Ace Family” vlogging channel on YouTube, shared clips of himself carrying a large trash bag of his belongings into the Bailey-DDG estate.

Fans were taken aback when McBroom showed a clip of the temporary living quarters, which featured scattered clothes on the floor, shoes in a corner, and an air mattress in the middle of the room.

According to The Palm Beach Post, McBroom, a content creator and former basketball player from Palmdale, California, located about two hours northeast of Los Angeles, recently filed for an “amicable” divorce from his wife of seven years, Catherine.

The estranged couple had amassed a fortune and over five million Instagram followers, along with another 20 million subscribers on YouTube and other platforms, by regularly vlogging about their family, which includes three young children.

McBroom has been involved in a flurry of controversies since gaining fame and has been accused of engaging in outlandish and reprehensible behavior. Some fans believe this may be part of his shock tactics to attract more viewers.

After being forced to leave the family home and live out of a large RV, he eventually ended up in the DDG house.

Some fans poked fun at DDG and Bailey over the situation.

This is not the first recent instance of DDG and Bailey becoming the targets of public criticism. Some fans took issue with Bailey’s recent photoshoot, in which she was photoshopped from the final images to conceal her pregnancy.

Bailey found humor in it, but some fans criticized her for it. After receiving some insults, Bailey responded to her detractors.

On X, Bailey lectured one fan, saying, “I never lied or even said anything about it, honey. Making a joke about my nose was the farthest I went,” Bailey wrote. “I’ll never understand why you are mad I protected my own peace, wouldn’t you do the same? And I’m going to share my pics now if I want to because my son is here safely. If you don’t want to see it, just keep scrolling, baby. Lol. God bless you!”
