Fans claim singer Ashanti and rapper boyfriend Nelly are expecting their first child after rekindling their romance in 2023.
Many point out that the “What’s Luv” songstress used her hand to try to keep her oversized pink Balenciaga t-shirt down in order to cover up her unmentionables while performing “Body on Me” with Nelly.
However, after placing her hand below her midsection, she revealed what fans believe is a baby bump. The couple were in Miami on Feb. 2 to help commemorate the 10th anniversary of club E11EVEN.

Fans also noted on X that Ashanti had sported a chic outfit that was baggy on her when she previously performed with Ja Rule in January.
Later on, rapper Fat Joe joined Ashanti onstage for a rendition of their hit track “What’s Luv?”
Fat Joe boldly takes credit for Ashanti and Nelly’s reunion after they dated for 10 years from 2003 to 2013. Joe says he created the fruitful resuscitation between the two during his Verzuz battle against Ja Rule.
“I immediately tell them I need 10 percent of this kid because if it wasn’t for Verzuz, that I brought Nelly out [during] me against Ja Rule, that’s when they saw each other and energy connected again,” he explained on Instagram. “That’s when he said I gotta have her. He was over there contemplating; he really wanted to go over there.”
