Earlier in the week, there was some bad blood between Mike Epps and Shannon Sharpe, but on Feb. 15, it looks like all is well.

Epps, who is from Indiana, met up with Sharpe, who was in town for the 2024 NBA All-Star-Weekend. Epps made remarks about Sharpe during a stand-up set that led to the two trading barbs on social media.

Sharpe referenced that the two would meet in Indiana on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“UNC and @TheRealMikeEpps have decided 2 have a man 2 man conversation in Indy at NBA all star weekend 2 discuss our differences,” Sharpe said. “We both realize this situation could’ve been, should’ve been handled differently. I apologize 2 fam, friends, love 1s and my fans.”

The back and forth initially started when Epps said that Sharpe asked him to come on “Club Shay Shay” during a comedy set.

“That n—- Shannon Sharpe called me trying to do an interview,” Epps said. “I said ‘No Madea, I ain’t doing no interview. You not gone look across from me and look at my balls when I’m sitting down.’ I thought he was going to attack Katt.”

Sharpe responded days later on his show “Nightcap,” claiming that Epps was lying.

“Mention my name again, and I’m gonna put the DM … and I don’t like doing this. But you’re lying,” Sharpe said. “I don’t care about all that other stuff.  You can say I’m gay … I don’t care about that. ‘Cause I won’t chase a lie. But I won’t let you lie on my name.

“Say my name again, and I’m gonna release the DM. Because you’re lying. You said I reached out to you to come on ‘Club Shay Shay,’ and you’re a mofo lie. Now when I see you, I’m gone see if you’re about that. I’m gone see if you want to say what you been saying, trying to get some jokes because you got mad because Katt Williams did what he did.”

Epps fired back the next day, saying that Sharpe tried to get Katt Williams to say messy stuff about him and that they’d see each other at the NBA All-Star Game.

“You was tryna [sic] get him to talk crazy about me, but he didn’t, OK,” Epps said. “Now, second of all, talking about pullin’ up on me — You gon [sic] be at the All-Star [game], I’m gon [sic] be at at the All-Star [game] in my hometown … and I’ma see you, aight?

“I don’t do no fighting, so you know there’s only one other option when you don’t fight. You do blank, blank, blank, blank, blank.”
