Man goes on high-speed chase in LA, talks to Kai Cenat on Instagram Live

The popular streamer attempts to reason with the driver

A man on the run from authorities in Los Angeles took to social media to broadcast his experience.

Instagram user @br0keasl went live as authorities pursued him in a blue Mercedes-Benz SUV in Santa Monica on March 19. The driver had a passenger in the car. During the chase, The vehicle hit speeds as high as nearly 120 miles per hour. The suspects were accused of stealing the vehicle.


While in the car, the social media user went live on Instagram and could be heard listening to Twitch streamer Kai Cenat‘s stream.

“Tell Kai I’m in this b—,” the user said, as Cenat tuned in. “I’m not putting my face on this b— at all, bro. They not catching s—, though. Don’t worry about it. I’m not gone put my face on live, that’s police as hell, but I was just watching bro stream,” the man said.


Cenat then had some words of advice.

“Bro! Get off of, pull over, bro!” Cenat said. “Bro, pull over.”

“Oh, you watching?” @br0keasl said on his Instagram live. “I ain’t doing s— you tell me to do, bro. I know my route, gang. I just had to let you know I’m watching, bro. I’m off this b—. You running my s— hot, you making my, you the- man. I’m off this b—.”

The driver reportedly took off his coat, ran into a nearby store and came back out taking off another jacket when police identified him and took him into custody.

Cenat reacted to the situation by coming to a humorous discovery about his supporters, as he’s called them, “The Mafia.”

“Oh my God, The Mafia are some thugs,” Cenat said. “Y’all some thugs. Oh my God! You guys are f——- thugs! What the f—?”
