Cardi B railed against the Los Angeles Police Department during a prolonged rant in which she vowed to sue the agency for allegedly making her strip naked outside.

Cardi, 31, told her 170 million Instagram followers that members of the LAPD stopped her for suspected drug possession, which Cardi claims the officers told her they received a tip about.

The Invasion of Privacy rapper did not detail if the LAPD found anything or how the police interaction concluded.

“I’m bout to sue the LAPD,” Cardi roared into the camera. “They got me f—ed up.”

Cardi admits that she played the celebrity card in trying to convince the officers that she was far too famous and wealthy to peddle narcotics.

“I told them like, ‘Yo, I’m Cardi B. Like do I look like I gotta sell some s—? Like why would I do that? I would never pull no s— like that,'” she continued.

Cardi said the LAPD officers had no idea who she was.

“They didn’t believe me. It was some White cops, and they ain’t know who I was. It was really tough on me and everything. They said somebody gave them a clue. I really feel like it was one of my opps and s—, like they really trying to ruin my life type s—. Like y’all don’t even f—ing know. I been going through a lot lately.”

The LAPD cannot confirm Cardi’s story at the moment

An LAPD Media Department spokesperson told the Daily Beast, “…at the moment, we don’t have any information as to what she’s alleging.”

Because of Cardi’s immense fame and vast following on social media (170M on IG, 33M on X, and 25M on TikTok), her accusations quickly went viral. This prompted sources within the LAPD to contact TMZ and explain that what Cardi stated could not have gone down the way she described it.

Whatever transpired, Cardi said the episode left her shaken to the core, and she plans to seek legal recourse for the allegedly traumatizing experience.

“They had all the helicopters in L.A. Yo, I was freaking out,” Cardi told her fans. “They had me outside for like three hours. They had me getting butt-naked outside. Yo, like, s— was crazy. It was deada– a movie and whatever but you already know.”
