After five years of marriage, Chance the Rapper and Kirsten Corley announced on April 3 that they are going their separate ways.

Corley released a statement on her Instagram account, revealing that the two have been separated and decided to call it quits.

“After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways,” Corley said. “We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together. We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition.”

Chance the Rapper and Corley tied the knot in 2019. They have known each other for nearly 16 years, and share two daughters, 7-year-old Kensli and 4-year-old Marli.

Corley is the founder and CEO of World of BOBY, a children’s apparel line. Chance the Rapper has been notably quiet on the music front as of late but plans to release his sophomore album, Star Line Gallery, this spring.
