The guardian for beleaguered former talk show queen Wendy Williams is demanding that her ex-husband Kevin Hunter return the $112,000 he was overpaid.

In the court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Hunter was allegedly allotted more in monthly alimony payments than he was entitled to.

Wendy Williams conservator wants money back from Kevin Hunter

Williams’ financial guardian Sabrina Morrissey filed the suit stating that there was an agreement that alimony payments would stop if Williams‘ income dipped below a certain threshold. When Williams lost the popular “Wendy Williams Show,” her income fell below that specified number in October 2021.  The payments should have stopped then.

However, Hunter continued to receive monthly installments of $37K per month until January 2022 when a conservator was appointed for Williams and the payments stopped.

“[Williams] continued to pay Mr. Hunter. He says in his motion papers … that he was paid through January of 2022 … As a result, [Hunter] has been unjustly enriched by the receipt of $112,500 belonging to [Williams].”

Now, Morrissey is asking the court to make Hunter return the bag and that he refrain from speaking on the lawsuit in public. He said he needed the monthly payments for everyday living expenses.

Kevin Hunter filed his own motion against Wendy Williams

Meanwhile, Hunter famously filed his own suit, requesting in court documents that he wanted the monthly payments to continue.

“This is an emergent matter because I rely on the severance pay for my living expenses and having been without this income for twenty-three months has affected me greatly … Therefore, I respectfully request that the court require [Williams] to immediately pay all severance payments which may be due and owing at the time of this court’s order,”

The judge has yet to issue a ruling.
