Fans of the Transformers movie franchise will soon get a new look at things in the upcoming animated prequel, Transformers One.

Directed by Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4), the movie will give a captivating glimpse into the start of the ongoing battle between the Autobots and Decepticons. The origin stories of both Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry) and Optimus Prime (Chris Hemsworth) are presented to audiences in a never-before-seen way.

Within the trailer, we see the Transformers’ home planet, Cyberton, in a past time when Optimus Prime was simply “Orion Pax” and Megatron went by “D-16.” Both were simple worker bots and had yet to discover their transforming powers.

Written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, the action-packed ensemble project also features Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion, Keegan-Michael Key as Bumblebee, Scarlett Johansson as Elita and Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime.

Transformers One will hit theaters on Sept. 20. Check out the trailer below.
