Fans are awed or dismayed by reality star Draya Michele’s remarkably quick postpartum recovery after delivering her third child on Mother’s Day 2024.

The former long-time star of the popular series “Basketball Wives” was back to working out on the treadmill just 10 days after her and NBA star Jalen Green’s infant arrived.

Michele, 39, must have sensed that her fans’ jaws would be agape as she posted the following snarky caption on the Instagram video for her 10 million followers, according to The Shade Room:

“If you’re wondering where my baby weight went … you see where the hell it went,” she barked.

Social media had mixed emotions about Draya Michele working out so soon

The native of Reading, Pennsylvania, about an hour west of Philadelphia, inspired supportive and critical responses from her vast fanbase.

One person implored Michele to take it easy. “It’s okay to let your body rest and recover after having a baby ladies,” the person said, while another admonished the former stripper to give her body a respite.

“Girl at least wait til you stop bleeding! Go enjoy your new baby,” the second respondent advised.

One person conveyed repulsion at Michele, saying, “Tryna get her body back right before the next NBA draft so she can go scout.”

A fourth person who knows about the process of childbirth and recovery said, “Imagine having a wound the size of a plate inside you and you tryna get on a treadmill 🥴 I’ll pass! As women we gotta focus on healing. If she wanna get on a treadmill good for her but please don’t rush ladies!”

A fifth person reminded critics that she has the autonomy to do what she wants as an adult: “Y’all really hating on a woman who is doing what feels good to her body, mind, and spirit! If she feels comfortable enough to start working out a week after giving birth, that’s her perogative! The same ones talking junk about Draya are the same mothers who are still trying to get their “pre” baby weight off after 18yrs. Let this lady live!”
