“Insecure” star Jay Ellis has become a father for the second time, adding another tiny human to his rapidly expanding team.
The 42-year-old actor, known for his role as Martin “Lawrence” Walker in the HBO series, and more recently for taking to the skies in Top Gun: Maverick, has welcomed a baby boy named Noa into the world on July 11.
“Noa Gray Ellis 7.11.24. Wow, we have a son!” he wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of the couple and their 3-year-old daughter Nora Grace holding the newborn’s tiny feet.
The couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at Villa Mangiacane in Tuscany, Italy, in 2022. Their wedding, which had all the trappings of a picturesque fairy tale, had been delayed several times since their engagement in 2019.
“We always knew we wanted to get married in Italy because going there was the first trip we ever took together,” Ellis’ wife Nina Senicar told Vogue magazine.
But after months of planning, the original ceremony was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and then, after rescheduling for 2021, a family loss meant they pushed things back again.
