One of his latest gigs was in Atlanta for the 2024 House in the Park, where he performed on the event’s new disco stage. Attendees danced and chanted throughout his set, and he received an ovation and multiple compliments afterward.

After the performance, Krivit spoke to rolling out about the event and shared advice for aspiring DJs.

What does it mean to you to move young people so much during a disco set in 2024?

It’s inspiring. I just love music. So it’s great to play for people.

What does disco mean to you?

It’s music I grew up with. I lived it as the songs were new.

What was this year’s House in the Park like for you?

It was a lot of fun. The guys before me were playing all great music, so I had to rethink what I came to play …

It was my first one, and the whole thing was great. What was so great about it were the people, the vibe, and the way it was put on. I mean, the music, the mainstay music, and the guys who were playing before me, it was an incredible crowd and a beautiful day.

What are some of the things you’re currently spinning in your deck?

So much, I can’t say.

What are three tips you have for aspiring DJs?

Believe in what you’re doing, have a good time and be in love with good music. Love the music. I’m just a music lover. It’s all about the music.
