Cardi B ranted hurricanes were punishment for voters who chose Donald Trump.

The fiery ‘WAP’ rapper, 32, led celebrity outrage when news broke Trump had claimed victory in the US election and been voted in as the nation’s 47th president with a fiery rant in which she vowed to “f*** up” his supporters.

It’s now emerged the performer also posted – and quickly deleted – a video on X in which she said about the election result: “This is why some of y’all states be getting hurricanes.”

Her response came after races were officially called in Florida, Louisiana, Texas and North Carolina in favour of Republican candidate Donald Trump – though her clip didn’t specifically call out Trump voters and was deleted within minutes of her posting the outburst.

She said on her Instagram Live as Trump’s victory was becoming obvious: “I swear to god I’m gonna f*** you up, get away from me!

“I’m sick of you! Burn you’re f****** hats motherf******.

“I’m really sad. I swear to god I’m really sad.”

Cardi hadn’t intended on voting in this year’s US presidential election, but Democrat vice-president Kamala Harris, 60, changed her mind.

She added about the politician: “No matter what, I know that she’s probably emotional right now.

“I know there’s probably a lot going on in her mind and I know she’s not listening to this, but she will eventually see it.

“I just hope she knows no matter what happens tonight, millions of people are proud of her. Women around the world are proud of her. Women of colour are proud of her.”

Cardi added Kamala should be “proud” of herself despite her election defeat, saying: “Y’all, I know how I felt at the beginning of the f****** year, I didn’t want to vote for anybody.

“She changed my mind – I feel like she was very honest and said the things I wanted to hear.

“When I look at her face and she was talking to me, I thought she was very genuine and not playing any f****** games.”
