Will HBCU GO’s third basketball season outshine its first two?

HBCU GO is the easiest way to watch your favorite HBCU this basketball season

The Allen Media Group free-streaming digital platform HBCU GO, the leading media provider for the country’s 107 historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), announced the 2025 HBCU GO basketball season schedule of televised games. The 2025 HBCU GO conference schedule features 20 basketball matchups, including both men’s and women’s games. Some of the colleges that are included in this 20-game schedule are Shaw University, Jackson State, Alcorn State, Texas Southern University, Virginia State University, and Tuskegee University.

The matchups will air on Saturdays at 1 p.m. ET on HBCU GO streaming and in broadcast syndication in major television markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, Dallas, Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, Memphis, Detroit, Sacramento, Miami, Tampa and Pittsburgh. Games will re-air on HBCU GO streaming and theGrio Television Network on Sundays at noon.


HBCU GO going into third season

This announcement comes in the midst of HBCU GO’s third football season where they are televising 26 HBCU games. HBCU Go will cover games played by members of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
