Rapper Papoose strolled with an arrogant gait into Flint City Hall in Michigan this past weekend, walking behind his girlfriend Claressa Shields as she appeared for the weigh-in for her upcoming heavyweight fight.
Papoose, née Shemele Mackie, who’s embroiled in a bitter divorce with rap icon Remy Ma, was outfitted in a black-and-white leather shearling jacket.

Shields, an Olympic gold medalist with an unblemished 15-0 record, walked ahead of Papoose with a floor-length brown leather coat and sashayed into a frenzied scene full of fans for the official weigh-in.
Before the weigh-in, Papoose got to one knee in a symbolic display of chivalry to tie her shoe to get her prepared to meet her opponent on the stage.
Papoose, Claressa Shields and Remy Ma accused each other of cheating
Of course, Shields was immersed in a war of words with Remy Ma after it was revealed that she and Papoose, 46, were romantic partners while still married to Remy Ma.
Remy, 44, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, initially accused Papoose of cheating on her during their marriage. But Papoose fired back by calling Remy “a narcissist” and accusing her of multiple infidelities.

It wasn’t long before Remy admitted to being in a relationship with Eazy The Block Captain, whom Papoose said he punched out because Eazy shook his hand like they were cool — only to later found out that he had been sleeping with his wife.
Shields, meanwhile, said in an interview that she wanted to box Remy so badly that she would put on the fight for just $1.
Whatever circumstances precipitated the cheating by both parties, Papoose made it clear that he has entered the next chapter of his life by surprising Shields by showing up to Shields’ weigh-in.
Meanwhile, Remy Ma has solidified her relationship with Eazy The Block Captain who has since boasted about their relationship. He also stated that folks were jealous of them because they had found happiness with each other.
