Drake is headlining the full three nights of the Wireless Festival. This unprecedented announcement marks a historic moment for one of the UK’s largest music festivals.

The five-time Grammy award winner will perform three different setlists at London’s Finsbury Park from Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13. Finsbury Park, which has hosted Wireless since 2014, has a capacity of 45,000 people per day.

The ‘One Dance’ hitmaker will be on the main stage each evening as the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary as he performs in the UK for the first time in six years. Drake’s last UK performance in 2018 broke attendance records at the O2 Arena.

“It’s been months in the making and initially no one thought they could pull it off, but Drake is all signed on to headline all three days of Wireless,” a source told The Sun newspaper. “Bosses are naturally overjoyed and expect tickets to sell out in record time. Exact set lists are still to be worked out but one idea that has been passed about is that Drake will perform some of his albums in full for the first time.” Drake’s discography includes eight studio albums that have collectively sold over 170 million records worldwide.

According to the event poster, Friday (11.07.25) will see Drake and PartyNextDoor – whose real name is Jahron Brathwaite and who both collaborated on the 21-track album ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’ – sing to festivalgoers. Their collaboration album reached number one in multiple countries upon its release.

On Saturday (12.07.25), Drake and The Mandem will be taking to the stage. The Mandem, a collective of UK artists, has been instrumental in bridging the gap between North American and British hip-hop scenes.

Burna Boy and dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel will join the rap star on Sunday (13.07.25) as they close the curtain on the spectacle that marks two decades of Wireless. Burna Boy’s recent arena tours have solidified his status as one of Africa’s biggest musical exports.

Drake – whose real name is Aubrey Graham – first headlined Wireless back in 2012 and the festival claims he holds the title “for the audience’s most requested artist”. His 2012 performance drew one of the largest crowds in the festival’s history.

The announcement will place the spotlight on Drake’s ongoing rap beef with Kendrick Lamar – who also has his own UK shows scheduled for July. The rivalry between the two artists has generated significant media attention and sparked numerous viral moments on social media.

Tickets for Wireless go on sale on Wednesday (19.02.25) and more acts for the weekend are set to be announced in due course. Previous Wireless Festivals have seen tickets sell out within hours of release.

This triple headline appearance represents a significant milestone in Wireless Festival‘s history, which has grown from a one-day event in 2005 to become one of Europe’s premier urban music festivals. The festival has previously hosted legendary performances from artists like Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Kanye West.

Industry experts predict this unique booking will set a new precedent for festival programming, potentially influencing how other major events approach their headline slots. The decision to have one artist headline all three nights is unprecedented in UK festival history.

The economic impact on London is expected to be substantial, with previous editions of Wireless Festival generating an estimated £10 million for the local economy. Hotels and businesses in the Finsbury Park area are already preparing for the influx of visitors.

Festival organizers have also announced enhanced security measures and improved facilities to accommodate the expected record-breaking crowds. The event will feature expanded VIP areas, upgraded sound systems, and additional viewing platforms to ensure optimal experiences for all attendees.
